But there is so much potential inside us that we don't even realise until we stop. Medusa, from Greek mythology, represents the importance of pausing. Her gaze could turn people to stone, forcing them to face their deepest fears and truths. The snakes in Medusa’s hair represent the natural, creative energy of the feminine - an energy that society has often tried to control for centuries.

 

Medusa’s Gaze Pausing Reflector consists of two symbols:

 

The Mirrored Reflection - This represents seeing ourselves clearly, without the usual distractions or facades. It helps us stop competing in the constant race of our busy world. We can take a break from always trying to be faster, better, or more successful than everyone else.

 

The Reversed Mirrored Reflection - This is about seeing ourselves in a new, deeper way. It’s like looking at ourselves from a different angle, a perspective we didn’t have before. It allows us to look inward and see the beauty and potential that exists within ourselves.  When we slow down and reflect, we can discover amazing things about who we are.

 

When we slow down and become still, like Medusa’s victims, we can look at the deeper parts of ourselves. This can be hard, but it helps us connect with what matters. When we stop rushing all the time, we see we already have everything we need inside us. Slowing down let our body, mind, and spirit work together better. Pausing to connect with Medusa’s energy helps us step away from the constant busyness. In these quiet moments, new ideas can come to us. Medusa’s Gaze Pausing Reflector shows us the beauty in all parts of life, even the difficult ones. Another layer of life’s beauty becomes visible only when all of them are united and crystallised. This can make us feel more curious and accepting about ourselves, the world around us, and as a result, ourselves seen in the world.
