Ethereal Anointing Reiki was channeled in 2012 by Reiki Master Alasdair Gordon.
The use of Anointing means to Pour or Smear with Oil, Milk, Water or other substances and is a pricess employed by many Religious Traditions, past and present. People are Anointed to symbolise the introduction of a Sacramental or Divine Influence, a Holy Emanation or the Spirit or Power of God. It can also be seen as a Spiritual Mode of introducing Healing or Empowerment. Practitioners using the Ethereal Anointing Reiki energies in combination with their existing Healing abilities may be sufficiently Empowered to sense, either tangibly or by smell the presence of Oil on their Hands when offering Healing Sessions to themselves or others.
